Zhanqiao Pier (栈桥)

St. Michael’s Cathedral (圣弥厄尔主教堂)

One of the most recognizable landmarks in Qingdao’s old town, the cathedral stands out with its red roof, yellow façade and twin towers. The surrounding streets are also perfect for walking and photos, making it a must-see stop on an old-town City Walk.

SILVERFISH ST. (银鱼巷)

Discover cafés, creative shops and stylish spaces tucked into the old-town streets. With a more relaxed atmosphere than the major tourist spots, SILVERFISH ST. is a great place to enjoy a coffee and experience Qingdao’s youthful, creative side.

DAY 2

The MixC → Daxue Road → Longjiang Road → Xiaoyushan Park → Taidong Night Market

The MixC (万象城)

One of Qingdao’s popular downtown shopping malls, The MixC brings together shopping, dining, cafés and entertainment. Stop here for lunch, browse the shops and get a taste of modern city life in Qingdao.

Daxue Road (大学路)

Daxue Road is one of Qingdao’s most artistic neighborhoods, where red walls, leafy trees, historic buildings and cafés create a charming streetscape. It is perfect for a leisurely walk and is also one of the city’s favorite photo spots.

Longjiang Road (龙江路)

Continue on foot to Longjiang Road, a playful street filled with colorful murals, creative shops and artistic spaces. Take a stroll, snap some photos and discover another charming side of Qingdao’s old town.

Xiaoyushan Park (小鱼山公园)

Climb to the top of Xiaoyushan Park for panoramic views over Qingdao’s old town. Red-tiled roofs, green trees, the blue sea and the city skyline come together to create one of Qingdao’s most classic views.

Taidong Night Market (台东夜市)

Head to Taidong in the evening to experience Qingdao after dark. Browse the lively streets, sample local snacks and explore restaurants and shops while soaking up the city’s vibrant local atmosphere.

DAY 3

Badaguan → Tsingtao Beer Museum → AEON → May Fourth Square

Badaguan (八大关)

Stroll along tree-lined streets and admire historic villas in a variety of architectural styles. With its beautiful blend of architecture, greenery and seaside scenery, Badaguan is one of Qingdao’s best areas for walking and photography.

Tsingtao Beer Museum (青岛啤酒博物馆)

No trip to Qingdao is complete without discovering its famous beer culture. Learn about the history and brewing process of Tsingtao Beer, and enjoy freshly brewed beer on site for a taste of one of the city’s most iconic traditions.

AEON(佳世客)

Looking for Chinese snacks, drinks or Qingdao souvenirs? Stop by this local supermarket for a wide selection of regional foods and everyday products. It is also an easy way for international visitors to experience everyday shopping in China.

May Fourth Square (五四广场)

Arrive at May Fourth Square around sunset to see one of Qingdao’s best-known modern landmarks. Facing Fushan Bay, the square offers impressive views of the waterfront and city skyline.

When the nighttime light show is running, head to the nearby Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center for a Fushan Bay night cruise. From the water, you can enjoy illuminated views of May Fourth Square, the sailing center and the waterfront skyline.

DAY 4

Silk Road Romance Park (丝路千古情)

For your final day, visit Silk Road Romance Park, located near Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport. It is especially convenient for travelers flying home that day or staying near the airport.

Opened in 2026, the park combines large-scale performances, immersive experiences, live parades, indoor attractions and children’s entertainment. Its signature show uses live performances, visual effects and immersive stage design to bring stories of the Silk Road and Qingdao to life.

Beyond the show, visitors can enjoy interactive activities, photo spots and leisure experiences throughout the park. It is a fun final stop for couples, friends and families, bringing your 4-day Qingdao journey to a memorable close.
